The BSRC course is designed to familiarize the security staff with updates/ changes in his roles & responsibilities and refresh his knowledge about challenges & threats in the performance of his duties, in order to ensure a safe environment for all members of society

| Eligibility | 1. Must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. 2. Security experience in the field of police and security or armed forces must be at least 2 years. 3. To speak both English and Arabic or at least either of them 4. Age 21- 55 years 5. Height must not be less than 160 cm for males and 150 cm for females 6. Must be fit |

| Assessment | The course is featured with Initial assessment, Formative Assessment and the Summative assessment to enable not only to assess and evaluate learning but also to assist in enhance the learning. COURSE ASSESSMENT CRITERIA: Unless otherwise specified by the authorities, the course assessment criteria are as under: Written Assessment 40% (70% Pass Marks) Language Skills Assessment 20% (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Participation) Notebook Maintenance 10% Deportment 10% Practical Assessment 20% Physical Assessment (SOPAT Test) Self Defense TestCandidates securing 70% of the above are considered PASS and are eligible for certification. |
| Certification | Candidates who pass written assessment & module assignments shall receive an NSI BSRC certificate. |
| Targeted audience | This course is designed for the existing licensed security guards who want to renewal their license as security guard. |
